Would Jesus Blog? and Giveaway

I'm open to other opinions, especially His, but at first thought, I don't think so. He really is the Great Communicator and, now, wouldn't need to blog. I think He is quite good at communicating supernaturally.

Back then, I don't think so because He didn't come to the Gentile world.

Any opinions?

Since no one is answering, here's an incentive. Answer the Jesus Blog question and get a chance to win a $5 gift certificate from P and P Homemades on Etsy. (If there is any really bad stuff in your answer I won't publish it.)

Well He doesn't _need_ to blog, but I think there were alot of things He didn't _need_ to do that He did because He wanted to. He didn't _need_ to love us enough to come down and die for us, really I don't think He _needed_ us that much, for all the headache we are. Still He came to our level. I don't know why He wouldn't blog, if He were here in the 21st century, He definitely still ministered/affected gentiles even though they weren't exactly His target audience.

Though, the bible doesn't say much about blogging, so this is just my guess.

Hi PandP!! Ok - I do not think He would blog -His word is living no matter where it is published, but I believe when He was walking in the flesh here, He moved and spoke and touched people, so they could physically - as well as spiritually - know God was with them...
Of course, I don't know...but it reminds me of another subject - trying to reconcile evolution and the old earth theories with the Word of God and the overwhelming factual truths apparent to both scientists and lay people alike - There is no reconciliation. Young Earth, Catastrophic flood, 6 days creation...The word of God stands true.♥

Great question Patti!
I don't think He would blog because He is a personal God. When He was here on earth, He walked and talked with people. He looked at them, He touched them and He spoke to them personally. He didn't write the gospels, instead He spoke and demonstrated what needed to be written and ordained and inspired His disciples to write them.

Having said that, I do think the Holy Spirit inspires us to write things in our blogs that help to carry out The Great Commission. I know He gives me the words to use, vocally or through my blog, when I am witnessing to people. I know they're His words, because I am always amazed when they come out of my mouth! So in a way, He does blog, through us, if we will only allow ourselves to be His voice.

Just my humble opinion. :)

Hmmm....He might, or might not. He reaches each of us personally, through many different ways and means. Some come to see Him and know Him because of a song they heard that brought them to His throne...others hear words from a friend's mouth and they end up at His throne accepting His grace. Some read an opinion someone else wrote, and are brought to the realization there IS God Almighty. So, if just one person was going to be touched by a blog entry He wrote, I think He'd do it because He knows the outcome of them reading it.

And, hmmmmm...again.... The Bible, THE WORD, is the original blog, don't you think? Just my "human touched by grace" opinion...

I think Jesus would not have blogged if He was here today. I think He would have rather spent time with people then spending time on the computer.

mmm, I don't think so. I agree he is a personal God, and somehow the implyed distance created by blogging and the internet doesn't seem very much like him.
But I do think he would inspire blogs through his personal relationship with his children. He encourages us to share our faith and to tell people about our personal relatioship with him, through conversation, actions, letters, and sure blogs.

I know one thing for sure - Jesus would not have to blog to get His Word out there. He is very personal, I agree but IF someone asked Him to blog I believe that He might. He does everything to please us. I love Him with all of my heart.

I agree with the comments of Jesus being a personal communicator. He often took time out of His ministry to speak to just one person. The woman at the well, Nicodemus at night.
However I do believe He would use any method of communication that He had available to speak to us including blogging and even YouTube. That is just how much He loves us! Those who blog to share the gospel are just being the Jesus who Blogs!

I don't think Jesus would be sitting on His behind behind a computer! I think He would be out ministering with His hands, just as He did when He was here!

I think he would blog. It would be one more source for people who do not believe, or have questions, to change their mind.
