Some Special Friends Who Love the Lord and a Special Necklace from Friend Who Loves the Lord.(Who is Also a Special Friend.)

The top is Nolene, whom I have known my whole life from church.  Then comes Nadine and the man I call the Hall Saint, since I can never remember his name and he insists on taking in Sun. afternoon church from this love seat in the hall.  I would too if I could.  The area the rest of us sit in is too warm. Next is me at the local grocery showing off one of my lovely Christmas presents from Daffy, like those seen in her Etsy shop,
sweetheartstudio.  There she has many beautiful things.
My photography leaves much to be desired.  There is a lovely crystal to the lower right of the P.

Blessed

I just spent 30 minutes rereading the last three years of this blog.  I have been so very blessed.

For many unhappy reasons I no longer attend either of the churches that blessed me so very much during that time.  I ache when considering the apostasy and rudeness that caused the breakups.  Let me say that we feel kindly toward all those involved.  We're not angry and feel affection for all concerned.

I pray that our Heavenly Father will lead us onward and continue to bless us with spiritual growth.

The Way to Holiness

The post title is the title of a book by Samuel Logan Brengle.

Brengle's steps to holiness or sanctification are

1.See the need for this step beyond simple salvation

2.Frankly confess the need. 

3.Believe the blessing is for me.

4.Believe that it's for me NOW.  Don't put it off anymore.

5. Go to Jesus and asked Him for holiness.

Holiness is a cleansed heart filled with love for God and every person.
