Comfort

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (New King James Version)

¹⁶ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. ¹⁸ Therefore comfort one another with these words.

by His grace

For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Love Song

Falling in love with the Book, fifty years after first opening it with awe, turning to John, and reading about the Word.

Falling in love with the Word

Walking with Him,

Being close to him is the best reward.
Not deserving a reward,
having failed at most everything,

the church being His bride.

Having been forgiven a lot,
Loving Him more and more.

No more rants

I'm a little ashamed of my previous political rants. We've stopped listening to the programs that get us over emotional. The voting booth expresses our voice.

I heard some new stats regarding politics. A Gallup poll found that only 36% of Americans look on the Tea Party with favor.

The current Administration has managed to offend both the UK and Israel. What can I say?
