How Does One Celebrate Conception?

See yesterday's post for why I want to do so.

So, the manger, shepherds, sheep, and eventually star and wisemen, probably happened in September. Maybe it's the Feast of Trumpets?

So, Mary's God-glorified Egg?

It seems a little personal and maybe even insulting. I have a lot of respect for the most blessed among women.

One does not make an image of the Holy Spirit.

Here is a 2nd day fertilized egg.

One-cell embryo, also called a zygote, or a two pronuclear embryo

The two circles in the middle, with little bumps which might be an artifact of electron microscopy, is the two cell person.

Hmmmmm

Have a joyous season celebrating God.

We celebrate Jesus' conception and we celebrate Christmas on 12/25with all the traditional manger scenes of His birth and feel they are completely appropriate because His conception was the promise of His birth to come. God keeps His promises. If He says it, it will happen. He has given many promises that are yet to be fulfilled and they will be fulfilled because He is faithful to His Word.

Also, God, Himself said He is a "green fir tree" which symbolizes everlasting Life that God gives.

Ho 14:8
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard Him, and observed Him: I am like a green fir tree. From Me is thy fruit found.

Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right and the just shall walk in them; but the transgressors shall fall therein.

That's a neat picture of a fertilized egg. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Amazing only two cells. Wow.
