Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!

Well, at least a bear.

All my valentine gifts, including Buffy Buddy Bear, above, come with a blank valentine card.

I'm in a treasury!

The Gurney's flower seeds have arrived! Is it spring yet?

Resolved...

Recently a youngish person asked how to go about reading the Bible. I replied that some like to start with the Book of John, but it didn't matter where one starts. Just read it all, and when you finish, do it over again.

I've recently been quite disappointed with the quality of books available to us on tape, and the answer to that, of course, is to read The Book. It's entertaining, uplifting, thought-provoking, and a good idea.

I'm convicted, now, thinking of my answer to that question. When I asked a gym buddy how people in her denomination deal with adversity, she replied, "They stick their nose in The Book."

With a Little Help...

The Sun has not cooperated, but I tried a little backlighting.

I've decided to only post one item a day, and wanted to get the valentine up in the shop. I've also completed a fun spring scarf, a beanie, a mad pillow, and most of Buff Buddy.

Ready to photograph

If the weather and bunnies cooperate I would like to take pics of completed items for the Etsy shop.

Now that I'm on twitter, facebook, and myspace, I'd like to make more connections there. Shall we be friends?

We heard that people on twitter are 60% less likely to speak to their spouse. Pete is resigning himself to becoming a twitter widower.

Bunnies!

We have five babies in the basement. However the mother is young and the babies are very cold. I don't have much hope. I've tried putting cool newborns in warm water, to no effect. What a waste.

Prayer Stoll, Comfort Shawl

I've made a couple of prayer shawls for members of my family, and am now making one for the Etsy shop. I'm using lavender acrylic, to make a pleasant springtime item. Lavender may also be the remembrance color for rheumatoid arthritis.

It's taking more time to complete than the ones for family because, to reduce boredom in the bleak midwinter, I'm rotating it with a couple of crocheted animals. Buffy Bear will have a nice red heart showing, for Valentine's Day. Timothy Tortoise will have a colorful shell.

Am I suffering from cuteness?
